friday was not the best of days....nor the worst of days....I had to go home to wait on the ups man, he was delivering a package for my husband, who had to go to the hospital with his mother, she fell and apparently broke something in her shoulder, I waited and waited for the delivery and finally broke down and drank some whiskey ( because everyone knows whiskey makes things better). The hubby got home just before the ups man and took care of his business his own self, although I did call ups and they didn't care to work with me one i ota but, I went back to work and I should not have...I don't think people should drink whiskey and work, oh well...I don't know what to say about the new xanga drama - I shouldn't be blogging at work anyway - and I hardly every get on the internet at home, perhaps that will change after July 15, It will be sad not to be able to connect to all the wonderful people here on a regular basis though....just thinking about it makes me want to drink whiskey.
I had a few more bouquets I wanted to show you....remember I had iris on my desk for 4 weeks, not the same bouqet mind you but all bouquets were out of my own yard. This week I've had amaryllis:

I've also had beautiful roses, mainly pink, but I haven't taken pictures of them yet.

I've been catching trout like a pro, sometimes I pull in a little sun perch
I always let them go - always - I mean I've caught two so far.
One was really spectacular in color
all turquoise and red throated
I didn't have a camera with me so I didn't get a shot of it but trust me it was beautiful!
o.k. i went back home ....
I drink more whiskey....
the mother-in-laws shoulder was not broken
but the large bone in her arm below her right shoulder
the humorous bone I think
was broken cleanly in half
it was not humorous...
she is recoperating on my couch,,,
If xanga goes before I wake
I pray the lord my friends won't leave me here like a fish out of water
Good Grief...I shouldn't drink and blog.
Have a great weekend.

Barry fishing with the pups
if you need a good pup

There's plenty of other blogs in the ocean, we just have to figure out which one will be ours if Xanga goes away.
I'm gonna' stick with root beer tonight!

I like when the UPS man comes to my house!
Your poor MIL! That's gotta' hurt.
Yay on catching fish! When I fish, it's usually called "fishing", not "catching".
I wonder if the Xanga-rapture will occur and I will be left behind?!
EXTRA HUGS!!!
I'm not abandoning ship yet... Hang on and maybe things will be okay.
@adamswomanback - :lookaround:you always make me laugh, I love you so much!!! :heartbeat: !!! I don't know if we will be left behind
I also wonder if "I" can make it in, do I really want to spend eternity there  I've so many questions, I'm drinking whiskey again, the mil's arm bone is actually broken, right below her right shoulder, hydocodone seems to make it feel just fine  the grass is growing and I'm fixin to go mow, the mil only watches crime mysteries
My dad loved A&W rootbeer, if I could find that around here I wouldn't even have to drink whiskey, kentucky bourdon" I do love it... :fun:

And I've spit drink on my computer from laughing so hard whilst reading a Xanga post!!! :heartbeat: and HUGS!!! :sunny: (I'm so bright, at home they call me "Sunny"!!!)
@adamswomanback - :sunny: a friend brought over a pair of ray ban sunglasses he thought belonged to me, I've never paid more that 3 bucks for sunglasses so I know they weren't mine, :coolman: but they are my style and I will wear them while mowing...just for you sunshine :sunny:
@mlbncsga - Cool on the sunglasses! :goodjob: I've been wearing sunglasses here since the beginning of May. Not because of the sun...but because everyone started wearing their shorts and all that glaring-Winter-white flesh is hard on my eyes! :spinning:
But reading the news about Xanga could sober you up quick...:)
I will raise my glass of water to you Marsha. I pray that Xanga won't go belly up. Love the Amaryllis.
I love you more...can I have a drink with you?
Lowie!!!! how great would that be  you should come up to the panhandle this weekend and share a few with Mary Sue and me :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: ilym :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:
So the reason I even logged on was because of Mikka. She was telling me how she liked to hand wash dishes that she found it relaxing. I told her that my Aunt Butchie & Aunt Beverly felt the exact same way. Then she says, "OH speaking of your Aunts, I LOVE your Aunt Marsha! I read her blog the other day and wanted to log on just to tell her how much I love her! Her last post was about drinking whiskey, work, and lots of other stuff and it just sounded like YOU." - So I had to get on and read it...apparently she can read blogs because they are emailed to her. Anyhow, I don't have that feature. I LOVE you! Can't wait for this weekend!
@whit1980 - :sunny: you know I like to wash dishes too, it is relaxing, I also found out at our last reunion that if you have consumed a wee bit too much whiskey, at work or anywhere else, that washing dishes sobers you right up  I can't wait for the weekend either...it can't get here soon enough :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: ilym
