Happy New Year!
Just a short meteor- info-blog before I go home...
We had a great Christmas with all the kids home and a really quite New Year with all the kids celebrating elsewhere.
I'm pretty sure the Quadrantids will go unnoticed here in NW Georgia...it's overcast and cold =/ but maybe you can catch a falling star or two!
Quadrans Muralis via Atlas Coelestis. What are the peak dates for the Quadrantid shower in 2014?
Who will see the Quadrantid meteor shower best in 2014?
What time should I watch the Quadrantid meteor shower in 2014?
Where is the radiant point for the Quadrantid shower?
The Quadrantids are named for a constellation that no longer exists.
Hope your New Year is filled with peace and joy!

I wish it were clear out - instead we have heavy clouds and snow... no showers for me.
Won't be able to see anything here since it's snowy. Blah.
Happy New Year to you!
You get stuck with rain tonight, Marcia, but maybe the clouds will clear for us to see them in AZ tomorrow morning.
I guessed there was a meteor in the air !:-)
Wishing uou and your family, Marsha a happy year 2014 .

cold windy and overcast here too.
Hey, if a meteor falls in the sky and goes un-noticed, does it still make a sound? oh wait, that's a tree falling in the woods. J/K.
Thanks for the info. I hope Someone gets to see them.
Stay warm. Stay safe.
I take my late night walk every night and watch the sky.
It is like therapy.
Happy New Year to you and yours!
HUGS!!!
