  • Picture This

    This is my friend Linda on her amazing front porch, she lives in the Shenandoah Valley (if you haven't been you should go!)  I asked for prayers for her a couple of months ago, she's been fighting ovarian cancer for ever. Her last CT scan showed clear of all cancer cells.  She will have to have one more round of Chemo anyway, but let me just thank everyone who sent up a prayer for her....GOOD JOB!!!!

    Topping off the week we went to Atlanta Motor Speedway and Barry got to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

    I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Our plans are not definite yet, except that I will be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from somewhere..I never miss a chance to see old Santa, I do know that I am very thankful for so much...consider yourself on the top of the list....

  • I don't think I told you that I'm thankful that you can drive up and down those insane interstates we got on!!!  It's just going to be HLW & me on turkey day but we're going to have a big "leftovers" bash Friday night.  Come on over.  Cody & Katie are going to her parents at Blackwell and someone (several someones) will have to pick up the slack for Cody.  I love your pictures, the Shenandoah Valley is beautiful.  Talk to you later...I love you.       

  • Beautiful pictures!  Your beach plan sounds good and it would be really nice to have someone else to help me chase this little girl around some of the time!  She is full of energy as most little ones are.  Mabye one of these days we can get a plan together!!  Happy Thanksgiving!

    Thanks for the rosemary remedy, I bought a little bush at Whole Foods yesterday to bring to mom!  What a wonderful day to celebrate your friend's recovery...may her health continue to glow as she sits on her front porch!

  • I was one of those praying. I still am. My Mother has ovarian, too. Praise God for listening and hearing and acting on our prayers.

    I have done lots of harder things than soap a couch for a cup of coffee. It's a deal!!
