  • Goodbye Summer =( Hello Autumm =)

    edited

    on a saturday no less

    I'm giving the dogs a bath

    just the adults though

    one down three to go

    these are pups from litters past

    Sophia is the second from the right

    she's next in line to hit the shower

    ~~~~~~~~~
    This was the best shot I made of the blue moon
    August 31 - We really lucked out to see it at all,
    it was nice and mostly clear for about an hour after
    it came up,  It was cloudy and rainy for days before and
    after.
    I really need to learn to use Barry's camera whatevah
    Photo: my life is beautiful
    This is a friends photo- I'd like to
    take pictures like this all the time
    well,
    I'd have to get some cows first ...
     cool
    Work has been crazy...
    crazy isn't a good enough word
    but it's all I can think of right now,
    I'm about half crazy myself
    some would surely argue about the half part
    clueless
    I did get to be off work thurdsay,
    Our son Jordan borrowed my car and I was going to walk to work
    only I left the office keys in the car,
    (which was about a hunnerd miles away at that point)
    I called my boss who was taking a vacation day
    she had loaned her car to her daughter
    (who's name is also Jordan )
    and had left the keys to
    the office in her car...
    wtf
    which was about 20 miles away and
    I would have had to find her in her school ~ therefore the boss said
    " enjoy the day"
    so I did =)
    I played with the puppies and at the Creek with Nash.
    Nash and I took video on my little camera, about three minutes worth
    not 5 seconds after I turned the camera off a
    kingfisher came flying like the wind up the creek
    right along the top of the water
    and right behind Nash's head
    talk about timing
    shy
    I'm very thankful to have seen it though
    ~~~

    The puppies are doing great all twelve of them, three and a half weeks now.

    yesterday I moved them from the living room to the back porch.

    all that puppy breath was getting a little musky smellin =/

     they need to be outside anyway...

    I think these guys are twins

    they still sleep most of the time.

    soon we'll have the puppy pen cleaned up

    and they'll be moved again

    one things for sure

    ~ it's always somethin ~

    it's lovely today

    heart

    Life is Good

    It's all Good

    heart

    Autumn began today in the Northern Hemisphere

    (spring in the Southern Hemisphere)

    at the equinox, 10:49 a.m. EDT,

    and the Sun rises

    and sets

    nearly at the east and west points on your horizon.

    you could check your bearings

    Enjoy the weekend

     ~~~
    Nash took this last picture
    it's a basket and for what ever reason I like it!
  • I loves puppy breath.  : )
    what a neat way to get a day off.
  • A day off for no keys sounds good to me.
    :yes::yes::yes::yes:yes::yes::yes::yes:yes::yes::yes::yes:yes::yes::yes::yes:
  • !!! what are the odds???!!! Glad you got a "key" day... lol Wow that is Major Puppy Breath. Ours did really well in the front yard. I had to go to the chiropractor today bc had major shoulder pain but it's better now but all the groaning. :lol:
    I like that basket shot too. :) Happy weekend!!
  • Yay for keys being left in cars! Thanks for the reminder of the official start of autumn! Id love to take pictures like that spider web,too..even if I have no cows! (and the glorious fog!) Enjoy the puppy love!
  • Gah! The things people will do to get a day off!
    I am actually glad to see summer go.I like Fall and Spring best anyway.Summer is third and I don't like Winter at all!Howdy,how ya been?
  • Savour the memories of summer, and know that Fall has its own magic. Consider visiting Amicalola Falls in October. It's fantastic!
  • lovely photos, I know I won't miss the summer. I'm more of a fan of the winter but that's because my body was made for subzero weather
  • Happy Fall ! And a day off is very nice =)
    I like your (well, your friends,lol) picture of the spiderweb ! When I was ,like,13 or 14 I got into a photography picture and all I did was take pictures of things covered in frost and/or dew...gourds still on the vine, the gate, spiderwebs,rotting pumpkins,etc.I have a huge collage that covers my whole wall with the pictures =)
  • Well.... if you say they are puppies, then I suppose I would believe it! :lol:
  • Sweet babies and sounds like a wonderful day.
  • Life is good. I liked the keys story. Thanks for the info on my bee photo. You seem to know your nature.
  • I agree with others you do have a cool boss! Cute pups :)
    Fall couldn't have come any faster! :love:
  •  Goodbye Winter = Hello Spring, and a glorious day it is here in New Zealand.
    The changing seasons, yes, life is ever changing, a constant cycling and recycling of substance and experiences, as change is the natural law to life. There's a lesson I'm reminded of ~ that its okay to let go, to trust in an intellegence far greater than ourselves, and just to flow with the changes taking place in our life as best we can.  You did this very well, hope your day was a memorable one.    Wonderful photos and info
  • Those four lab pups in the first photo are absolutely adorable. I love labs.
  • ''A most enjoyable post, especially about how the keys became a holiday for you from too much work. The pups are a Blessing. AMEN'' :sunny:
  • Keys to the house, to the office, to the kingdom, to my heart? Interesting tales of sets of keys going on holiday. Perhaps like Port Keys in Harry Potter?
    Can't image a dozen puppies. That is a sizeable litter.
  • Keys locked away became a serendipitous day for you!  Life is good with unexpected pleasures!
  • Every time Xanga burps or fixes something, some of my subs disappear and that is why I keep resubbing.
  • @Grannys_Place - well that's good to know here I was thinking maybe you just didn't like me some of the time :spinning: sub away Ruth~
  • This is enjoyable to let the keys out and work off !!!
    I am amazed by the big puppies ; i WONDERT WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH THIS LOT OF DOGS ,
