I'm still here....my computer is all fixed and loaded up with new programs I haven't quite figured out yet. But I'm learning....you can teach an old dog new tricks sometimes. Here's a couple of pictures of a rainbow that filled our sky the Sunday before Thanksgiving.....WOW!
it was so big Barry couldn't get it all in one photo, if I could figure out how to line up the green and red trees it would be perfect. I was at Church helping fix our annual Thanksgiving feast and missed all but the fading glorie...Thanks Barry for getting the shot. Speaking of Church, Barry also took this picture for our new directory:
We don't have a huge congregation but I sure do love it here at Cave Spring Baptist!
I'll try and get back in the grove of posting soon....yeah I know I've said that before, it's just been a busy time for everyone. Someone asked me the other day if I was ready for Christmas - I told them I wasn't even ready for Halloween yet - they just looked at me like I was a crazy person....hahahaha...maybe I am.

I love your comeback! hehe! Christmas seems to be upon us already -there isn't as much time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year!
Those double rainbows seem to be happening with greater frequency. Always so amazing to see. I call them God's domes of protection.

It is nice to see your congregation has both youngsters and older folk as well.
I'm nowhere near ready for Christmas either. If we rush it, it will be over before we know it, and I don't want that; I want to enjoy it for all it's glory, to take in the lights and scents and sounds, to reflect on it's true meaning and give thanks (yes, even though Thanksgiving is over, this holiday is even more important to give thanks).
Today at the mall (I stopped for lunch), there was a parade of carolers from a highschool of a nearby town, all dressed in suits and sparkly dresses. How sweet.

I am an old guy and just prodding along with modern gadgets. I am finally reading (sort of) the User Guide===overr 300 oomputer screen pages. lol I hate anything long. lol

I just had this thought too... are the rainbows getting larger? Is God placing larger domes of protection around us?
