Dave had a heart attack ( there is a history of this problem on his father's side) and his mitral valve is damaged.
He is in stable condition but with this damage people can take a turn for the worse very quickly.
They flew him to Hershey last night because one of the doctors on the team at St Josephs
who does the surgery is on vacation so they sent him to Hershey because if he does get worse
they want him to be able to have the surgery right away.

My thoughts will be with Beth and Dave! I hope he won't need surgery, but that was wise to take him to a hospital where the surgeon is not on vacation!

Of course. Prayers lifted. Not just for the 2 of them, but also for the medical team working on them. Doctors and nurses have long hours. May they be awake, alert, and have steady hands. May God comfort Beth and Dave.

Beth (seedsower) said on facebook yesterday that her husband had surgery on his valve and is doing well in recovery. So that's good news and may the prayers continue.
