great billowy clouds hang in the azure blue sky
corn grows as tall as an elephants eye
lightnin bugs and stars
twinkle like diamonds
perseids fly
kids wait on buses
backpacks in tow
we are here
not much has changed
for which
I am thankfull

I sometimes prefer a period of no change, sometimes I think "no change" doesn't happen enough.

This is definitely August. Cornfields...my mother hasn't planted corn in her garden in some time. I hope to see some on my road trip this month. I love fresh corn on the cob. :love:
By this time last year our corn was dead due to the drought we were having. This year, the corn and the beans look so good. I am glad we are all still here!
There's nothing like corn on the cob or billowy clouds in azure sky. That will never change.
